A sign at the entrance spoke of “NEU Café Schnitzel-Paradies”. Surprise of surprise Öäähm, surprise surprise, o....k, we still see one. The entrance area was appealing once again with saddle roof, but once you reached a flea market, appeared. A flea market? With scrap, Kitsch and what do I know for Gelumpe? I had no eyes for it. But the Knipse was awake! Were we witnesses of a decline?... and exactly at the entrance a flea market... But wait. This was also announced after reaching the main passenger compartment in which the counter is located. A serviceman was very excited to promote food and drink in an enlarged space and to mean only “eye view” in the pasture. The moment came and went and came and went. I almost had bed weight from many flashes. Our next „Husch“ tried to ask a question: Could we already put on the terrace... something hectic with a moment was still recognized. As it was so far (it didn’t take really long, we just stood but stupid, but we could get her well through a spacious glazed veranda veranda (which, if necessary, can be completely closed a few steps outside on the terrace). And there we learned the reason for waiting. She just left a table on which we can sit. The rest was occupied or reserved. Two cards (Brush red artificial leather ring books were also handed over and we were allowed to place our drinks. I knew there were some good drops over a big vineyard. As not particularly vinophile it wasn't behind me and so I didn't have to look into the map for a wheat beer. 3.90€ for 0.5Liter are also a pretty proud price in our area. The 2.50 for 0.3L-specific could already be known. Café Schnitzel-Paradies. Well, be it, we were here and so we were mainly concerned with the carvings. And they were many. Every slice or nature. These were praised with 300g and a smaller variant with 200g was beaten in the wallet during a price reduction of 2€. Well, there were still a few beef dishes such as rust roasts etc., but if you are unholy in the “carving paradise”, then the choice is usually clear. So we ordered a Schnitzel Wiener Kunst with Pommer on 11,80 (300g and one with the name Hawaii on 14,80 the 300g. At first there were Pommes and the Scavenger Hawaii of course very authentic with croquettes. A salad was not included and so there were two salads of 4.90 each, which were allowed to be joined together on the buffet itself. The salads we picked up immediately and with them almost completely what one gets par excellence in some petty-bourgeois houses today: a compilation of different salads that all season individually and with excellent ones. Here it was more a unit of boring but quite edible kind. But it was a pity. We had come here with other expectations. But hello, who will be angry, we are in the carving paradise and not in the salad sky! At the salad and then we enjoyed the really famose location and views. View of the terrace So many reserved table get company. And the lady of the service was really not to envy. But and that we must do to her, she was solely responsible for a neat amount of guests and had this very well under control for these circumstances. The irritations at the beginning were quickly faded. Of course there was no big speech at the table or larger small conversations. We don't have to. The carvings came for that. Here in paradise should be enough speech. My carving looked good. It came to the table in an unorthodox form (Texas? Schni.... and was accompanied by two lemon nappies (which were very needed). Two melon pieces were connected to each other, whose background of the presence on the plate I have not yet recorded. Whether this carving had its 300g I can't say if then rather hairy. But the hair was not the taste. More like a hit. It fulfilled the desired boredom and was tastefully not to distinguish from a carving of other carvings. Quantitatively, however, it took up from the aforementioned continuous heaters. Down. That's why the price went up. So it was also paved overall. The Pommes were Pommes. Just as they should be and do not pose a cook before challenges (should be. The Hawaiian carving, little carving was characterized by two slices of ham, pineapple on it and cheese from above. In the middle of the pineapple discs a traditional strawberry throne. At least the strawberries should have a local background. In Breuningsweiler there are some strawberry fields, as the sand bottom seems to create. But even this herb, although something blown through the conditions, was of long fatigue. The croquettes, as not expected otherwise, are adapted to the overall image. First feeling: What was that now? Have we visited an earlier good house in decline? I can't say it in the end. The house lives well (always still? the excellent location and wine and reputation. However, those who need the name addition “Schnitzelparadies” and supply this PLV their company base can be challenged. Now the future will show it. The second feeling: that doesn't make garnix anymore. Maybe a good glass of wine on the beautiful terrace. But I'm not exactly a member of the target group."
