"The atmosphere and service is worth stopping inside. I enjoyed a hot egg and bacon croissant, a skinny, sugar-free, almond Roca mocha (20% off on Monday! , and a hot maple bourbon coffee. All were very fresh and served hot as expected(but not always received at other places .The barista was very attentive, helpful and quick to bring me my order. The restaurant was very clean. I have also used the drive through multiple times, but I love going inside to stop the world for a few minutes."

Fort Smith is the city of the area for trendy cafes, but some of the smaller cities have not always been regarded as ideal spots for cafes. Ground Hero Coffee Company aims to change that when it opens its doors in the rural community of Barling last May. What's Ground Hero? Ground Hero is a coffee shop that offers lattes, mochas and other popular coffee drinks. They also offer biscottis, sandwiches and soups. In short, they offer the same fare you find in most coffee shops, but this is not why you want to go to Ground Hero. There are two reasons why people want to go to Ground Hero, and as the former Starbucks CEO Howard Behar said, "It's not about coffee." What is it about? At first, it's about a favorable situation. "These people don't care who they hire and are very rude. An associate of there's yelled at my mother and told her to leave. After confronting him about this , he and I got into a fight in station parking lot while he was still working and weeks later I found out no action was taken and he still works there. Management is a joke they yell at customers and can't keep employees because everyone quits"

"Karotten-Dreck is amazing! the owners are incredibly friendly and take the time to get to know them. the food, the smoothies and the coffee are top notch; my man and I visited this place and we just moved to continue smith. I am so glad to see and visit a vegan caffe, often! P.S. the cookies and gravy should die."

"Mamas feels like home. Only at the eastern end of the city, over the last building on the right side, sits Mama's Country Cafe. What a dive this is at my first visit. Nothing special to see on the outside and nothing special on the inside. Must be okay if you can't find a parking place for lunch, I thought when I went in for the first time. Always some military and construction workers in there for lunch on a daily basis. The first time I had chicken dumplings and that was all it needed. Wow! Mama will let you melt in your chair for cooking. But not if you're a guy... would give the military and construction workers a good laugh. While you wait there and look around, everyone has a smile on the face, very friendly, the waitress will sometimes sit on the table with you and ask how your day goes, some customers go behind the counter and get a glass of tea when the waitress is extremely busy, a step up in the kitchen to say hello to one of the cooks or maybe say a joke, I know who is:? No, she has red hair and makes sure everything goes well at the tables by talking to customers. And rarely she has to get a waitress to take care of a client, but when she jumps to take care of her. If you ever want to feel at home, if you can't go home, stop at Mama's Cafe in Barling for breakfast or lunch. You don't leave unhappy or empty stomach."

"We were greeted as we came in and seated immediately. Everyone was very nice, polite and friendly. We had the best waitress! I did not catch her name but she worked today and we were there around 2pm. She took excellent care of us and we appreciated her going over and above. In times like these with staffing issues, we have a different appreciation for those still working. Especially, those that go out of there way to do a good job and the Ft. Smith staff did that today!!! The food was also good and it was very clean inside. It is IHOP, so of course we will be back!!! Thank you ladies!"
