"Been going to Barton fish and chips shop for years lovely family run business, Never had any problems until the last couple of times I've been the young lad that work's there is Rude and Aragant, Manners don't cost you anything!! Please and Thankyou would be appreciated! Service with a smile and manners. A real let down to the business!! Food is good and all the other membersofstaff are Excellent!!"

"Definitely not the best tonight. Spare ribs were overdone and looked as if they'd been reheated a number of times. Chicken balls again seemed reheated. Chips were cold, chou mein tasteless and only 5 prawns in the foo Yong. Think I'll try elsewhere next time. "I do not recommend. Despite the lack of welcomeness from the owner, we were looking forward a good Fish chips in the area after a very nice and long walk on the surrounding hills. We were very disappointed when the waitress brought us our meals. There was no tartare sauce to go with the fish which was not good and the chips too dry. We were not told they did not have any tartare sauce when we ordered, otherwise we would have chosen something else. When comes the time to pay, no discount (nor a drink offered instead) was made in regard of our disappointment and we felt cheated. On the top of that the owner wanted to make the kids pay the adult price for the meals!"
