"We were desperate to eat something as so many of the eateries in north Perpignan are just awful, dire, catastrophically hideous, and we had already rejected several. (We didn't want Chinese/Asian food which you can get around here as we had some the previous night. We dived into Face Food possibly the dirtiest takeaway joint I have been to, and I have been around. It had two 40 inch TVs blaring out the same channel M9, but slightly out of sync with each other, food and old tissues were on the floor. But we still risked a chicken pannini with tomato, and the guys working there were very friendly. The chicken pannini and chips were actually very tasty, we had three and a big bottle of water for 15 euros. The guys came over as they wanted to close up, it was 2.30, so very late for France (why is it you don't have an economy again? and we were happy to leave. If they cleaned the place, put down their mobile phones and concentrated on the food, they might actually have a business. Even better none of us caught any illness. Two stars for the friendliness and the food."
