"My family went out on a charter Labour Day weekend (Sunday). The guide recommended getting the fish packaged up at Trilogy. My husband made arrangements with the lady at the store to pick it up the following day at 11am. Knowing the following day was Labour Day my husband left his number in case there would be an issue. He never received a phone call.The next day we show up at 11am to pick up the fish. No one was around, everything locked up tight. After calls to the fishing guide, lots of waiting (we left to have lunch) and no one knowing what was going on, the owner showed up at 1:15pm. We were told someone had been there earlier but left at 10am. The owner told my husband he would "give him a better deal" on packaging the fish since we waited for over 2 hours - he only charged him $2/lb. I'm still not sure how that's a deal as it's the cost posted on their website. I'm not sure if there are any other packaging companies in the area, but if we ever go back we will look for an alternative or take it home and fillet and package it ourselves."

"Of course, we should order fish and chips after reading these reviews. we ordered vegetarian burger and the suppe and bact sandwich combo... umm the vegetarian burger was just a bungalow with rooted, arugula, tomaten and brie there was no patty in itself. My sandwich was okay, just too much mayonnaise sauce in it. the pommes were the highlight of the meal and my man shared it with me when I couldn't eat the suppe. I gave the suppe to my man, nothing special. I think the woman had difficult things to order our two items. I forgot what we ordered, and my man asked a few times what kind of suppe it was and did not answer her, so I had no idea what suppe I got. If we knew, I would have ordered something else. Unfortunately, we almost left behind our lunch."

"We went to Big Daddy’s Fish 3 times within 36 hours. Safe to say we loved it. The staff was very welcoming and this is easily the juiciest halibut we have had in a long time. The batter is crisp and the fish is soft and flakey. Coleslaw was tasty but pricey at $8. The fries, like at most fish and chips spots, were just okay and nothing to rave about. However, I could go eat that fish everyday. After the first time we did ask them to season the fish before batter. They complied and the fish got soooo much better. 5/5. Also great tarter sauce."
When the weather is nice you can also eat and drink outside.

"The best smoked salmon we've ever eaten in our lives. this place is small, but serves some amazing things. try the well-maintained laughs for which it should die. also a great stop for souvenirs (bring a little laugh to home! and a great opportunity to support local indigenous companies."

"Beautiful location and views. Had dinner and the food was fine, but the staff seemed overloaded, i.e. not enough staff. The waiting time seemed extror usually long. In fact, we ordered ice for the desert and after at least 20 minutes our server showed up with him to tell us she had to prepare it herself. Really bad about our Haggard server, but understood why previous commentators talked about the bad dinner service. During breakfast the service was timely and the food was good."
