"Chef Louie's was highly recommended by a friend so on our way to the Black Hills we stopped for supper on a Thursday evening. The atmosphere was lovely, like a trip back in time...only the music didn't match the atmosphere...half expected to hear Sinatra, Dean Martin, or Tony Bennett. Our server was attentive, the salad and dinner rolls were fresh, but my husband's G&T was all ice, our steaks were tough...he had a NY strip and I had a ribeye (both medium as requested), the baked potatoes were tiny and definitely reheated from the day before, they had that bitter taste, and it was expensive. We don't mind paying for a good meal but this was incredibly disappointing. I emailed Chef Louie's but they never responded, so I felt inclined to share our experience. We kick ourselves for not stopping at Jimmy Johns and saved ourselves a chunk of change."

"Normally good, but you have to watch them prep your meal to avoid not getting your exact order. Ordered a super burrito with extra steak and I could not find any when I got to work to eat it. Called and they claimed they did put on two scoops of steak. I am looking at this sad not so super burrito. Do I call the fbi for my missing steak? No offer to compensate for their mistake. I have photos of the burrito. So I don't want to hear excuses. I will be going to Corona Village from now on. The churros were good. But a vegetarian steak super burrito? Come on! lol"

"We had the breakfast buffet. So many choices, pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs and more the food was hot. The manager was amazing when I asked if we could bring our son's plate home because he didn't eat much, and he gave us a box to go and told me to fill everything out of the buffet line! I was amazed, no one ever did that! The food was good. It was a good old fashion dinner where all locals came. If you travel through South Dakota, it is worth stopping for breakfast!!"
