"So, in Germany we have got a lot of bakeries. Especially outside bigger cities, and Übach-Palenberg ist not that big at all, you always have to hassle with some Folks, who never had anyone asking for -vegan- in the last 40 Years (yes, thats a quote from that Town, but a different bakery (Paulussen . But, browsing the web, i found the Bakery Schneider, which has got (atm 14 different Stores in the region. The Bread and Breadrolls are typical for the Region. What was amazing are 2 things: 1. They have got a Category for Vegan under the Product Listings, and: 2. They even offer 1-2 vegan Pastries (Marzinpanstange Apfeltasche and Pretzels, which are, beside some bigger Names like Kamps, nowhere else to be found, bc mostly made with animal products. Overall i would give 4 Stars, 1 less bc: not 100% vegan and the salesladies not as informed as possible (remember: Countryside, nearly no vegans around there . Better have the list of vegan items on your phone if you order, else they might give you a confused look. But they allways have to have the allergenes-Listings out by law, so, you may read that as well. Just watch out for Honey then, as that is not listed as an allergene, but may be added to some products. Updated from previous review on 2020-07-17"

"Amazing little place in downtown GK. This restaurant has been in GK since 1984. You still get served by the older lady, owner. We go at lunch time, we call ahead pre-order so that it is ready when we arrive at noon. They can do take out as well. Great menu, hasn't changed over the years, so you get true authentic Asian food. We've been multiple times over the last 3 years. Great menu!"

"Wir hatten unser jährliches Rehatreffen am 26.11.16 und hatten uns für Gänsebratenessen in diesem Lokal entschieden. Laut o.g. Sparbuch bekamen wir ab einem Rechnungsbetrag von 75 Euro 10 Euro abgezogen. Da ich mir nicht sicher war wie es genau abgerechnet wird, habe ich am Nachmittag in dem Lokal angerufen, wobei mir auf Anfrage gesagt wurde, dass es einer Rechnung von mindestens 75 Euro sein muss, weil der einzelne Gutschein mit der dazu gehörender Rechnung wohl beim Aktionskreis vorgelegt wird. Ich habe erneut nachgefragt, wenn ich zwei Rechnungen a`75 Euro oder mehr habe könnte ich auch zwei Gutscheine a`10 Euro vorlegen. Das wurde mir bejaht. Abends im Restaurant habe ich sofort darauf hingewwiesen, dass wir keine Gesamtrechnung haben wollen und wir uns so zusammen tuen wollten um immer auf ca. 75 Euro zu kommen. Die Angestellte wusste jedoch nicht damit umzugehen und fragte ihren Chef. Sie kam mit der Antwort zurück, dass pro Tisch einmalig ein Gutschein von 10 Euro berücksichtigt werden kann. Wr hatten einen Rechnungsbetrag von 229 Euro. Somit hätten wir 3 Gutscheine a`10 Euro vorlegen können. Da fühlt man sich doch richtig übern`Tisch gezogen, oder was meinen Sie?"
