"Visited in early March 2014, for the second time. Previous visit was in 2006 with family members. For really fresh Italian food in small and large quantities, depending on your appetite and the size of your wallet. Recommend an evening visit for the real atmosphere...and friendly service in this easily locatable restaurant situated near the centre of the Taunus village of Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt, some 15 minutes due north of the city of Wiesbaden. Parking and access are easy and free of charge. But do try to make a reservation via the website, where phone numbers are given. Delightful atmosphere and friendly, rapid service (an essential in Germany) are here in handfuls. Talk to the proprietor if you have a favourite dish in mind, or better still, listen to his suggestions which are rarely wrong. In the early summer and in the springtime, make the most of the tables on the terrace. You will not be disappointed."
