"The foie gras was excellent, served with toasted pain d'epice (which our French friend thought shouldn't have been toasted though I liked it) but the piece de boucher (beef) was tough. Other dishes also varied in quality and the heating failed. The centrepiece log fire remained unlit so it became a touch chilly."

"U absolutely love the restaurant, everything is perfect! There’s a cozy fireplace in the middel of the restaurant, outside you have a view of the mountains, the interior is so cozy, the staff is very friendly and will help you make your evening super. Even the chef personally comes out of the kitchen to check on his guests, which I love. The food is just so amazing, it’s so good that I order many dishes, since I can’t chose and want to taste everything. I loved it so much that I ate there twice in a week. Thanks for yet again an amazing evening! Highly recommend this restaurant!"

"We had such an incredible dinner here during our stay in Saint Sorlain D 'Arves. We are here based on the reviews we have read about Google and TripAdvisor, and we are so glad that we have made it! We chose their proposals that were a Steak de Boef and Lamb Shank. That was probably one of the best pieces of meat we had in a very long time. You can say that the cook is really passionate about his dishes and that was immediately translated into food. We also took a bottle of Brouilly from Beaujolais, which was perfect for both dishes. After that we chose each dessert and it was absolutely fantastic! I had received the Blueberry Planet, which was prepared by a court of blueberries that were hand-picked in the summer in the mountains of St. Sorlin and made to a compote and mousse. My husband had her special of the day, that was a pineapple Macaron that was absolutely fantastic! 10/10 for us! We would definitely return!"
