"We’ve eaten at Blackbirds about 5 times since moving to the area. We’ve taken vegans and devout carnivores and all have loved the food, ambiance and mimosas with brunch. Highly recommend this place. The outdoor dining is so wonderful. The only reason I can’t give five stars is that Happy Cow only allows that rating for fully vegan locations."

"Our family loves this spot. They are kid friendly, unusually accommodating to get us seated (family of 4), allow pets in the outdoor area (we also have a 100 lb dog), and the scenery and food are great. We especially love the warm pretzels and wings (incredible smoked flavor). The beers and cocktails are amazing. The ambiance is relaxed and the views of Evergreen are spectacular! If you're in the area and haven't been to Lariat Lodge, I would highly recommend it."

"Creekside Cellars is really a place to drink a leisure relaxing day wine and discuss life with big friends. It is located near this beautiful stream where you can sit and enjoy a beautiful view. Unfortunately, they only had seats outside the parking lot available, but the view of the city was still beautiful. The owner was very friendly and great to help us with a delicious Italian antipasto board that was excellent. It was just a great mix of cheese, bred meat, marinated seasoned vegetables, breads, olives and peppers. We decided on a small board, but it was a lot to enjoy with a small group. For my lunch I chose the Spicy Capicola, Fontina and Fig Panini. I'm not a big pig man, but this sandwich was very delicious. The saltiness of the meat paired well with the sweetness of the fig. I hope I can get it back to this beautiful institution. Five stars around the board"

"Good pizza, great meeting place at the brook. Beaumont Jo 's is our local pizza place if we want a quieter family dinner and don't want to go to Woody 's in Golden. Much prefer the Prairie Pie (New York style) over the spicy Chicago style cakes. You also have great sandwiches, healthier pizza options and a robust gluten-free menu if you need it. The tables outside are worth waiting, IMO, and other patrons are often very friendly. We met Beau Jo 's about once a week; it can be the best family dinner in downtown Evergreen."

"Wonderful attitude! Our salads were excellent, like my braided buffalo short ribs. My wife pesto pata dish was ok...don't order pasta here (except the gnocci), it's not what they do best. I recommend the sweet potato as your potato option on the page."

"This was a fabulous experience in more than one! We have for Evergreen with the intention to eat here for lunch as it seems the only game in the city for Mexican food. On arrival we found the dining room closed, but the Cantina was in operation. We thought... Hesitant, we went to the tight Cantina and we are immediately and cordially greeted by Laurelyn from behind the bar, who said she was the only one who works and we should be patient. Okay. She then brought us the menus and we were glad that it was the complete menu! Yeah, no pub duck! I had prepared the Shrimp Tacos and my wife had a mushroom quesadilla from a well-stocked kitchen! Both plates were well prepared and the food was excellent. The place is warm, well decorated, comfortable and well worth the ride in Evergreen. And because Laurelyn was the only server that was the duty for the entire Cantina, it rocked!"
