"Best fish and chips in Bourne lovely batter on the fish, and the chips were properly cooked, unlike other places I've been to locally. They cook their chips properly as well, so you don't get the pale, half raw garbage I've had from other places. I have to add, now that I've tried it, that the chicken donner meat is possibly the best I've had! Had to update this as we've used this chippy since we moved to Bourne 7 years ago after trying a couple of others locally, and the review saying that they overcook their chips is absolute nonsense. Unless you're a lover of the previously mentioned half raw garbage we've had in other chippies locally...."

"Four of us went today for my early birthday lunch and were delighted with both the food, drinks, and service. Freshly cooked and plentiful with a very pleasant bottle of Malbec for the two of us drinking, and a choice of decent low-alcohol beers and a gin for those who weren’t. No rush to finish eating and a table that was plenty big enough for us to eat comfortably, with the added benefit of being within walking distance, we’ll certainly be back soon!"

"We attended the sugar mill this evening as it was my birthday. I must say we were very impressed with the food and service we received. Recommend the 8oz gammon steak with chips, cowboy burger, chicken tikka masala. Also the dessert of sherry trifle cheesecake and rocky road sundae. Our party of five thoroughly enjoyed it.
