"Gone a bit downhill since Covid . I have been going here for 25 years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. We had a table for six people which should have really had four people on it. So three people were pinned up against the wall and couldn’t move while the other three people obviously had waiters leaning over them all night long. The drinks didn’t arrive for ages and the second round ordered just never turned up. The final insult was when I needed a waiter the guy saw me and never came back. I worked with the manager and he explained most the stuff we knew. Not really my problem when I’m paying £500 for supper. The food was as always way above standard and I feel sorry for the people working behind the scenes producing such good fair while the people out the front didn’t really care. I will go back inevitably and I really hope the management get on board and sort the problems out. And by that I do not mean the manager on the floor on the night. His offer of a free round of drinks missed the mark . I don’t need charity I just want good service. So my advice is don’t have a party larger than four people as they just cannot cope"
