"We went here to celebrate my cousins leaving to travel Australia for a year, we had lovely homemade food and lovely wine, the boys enjoyed a pint!!! We stayed all night and were made to feel so welcome. Lovely atmosphere, lovely food and lovely staff."

"Came randomly over bonfire was by dalkeith on the look for some food on the way to alnwick (we were in the Kebab shop). bonfire menu outside looked fantastic! sat in the house and not disappointed. with a good factor! and beautiful decor we had made a good choice in! Unfortunately, the menu was a down version, but still good choices. was really satisfied with the jug of table water and minze (made me immediately happy) our food arrived, pizza, burger and Chinese chips! was really good. and a real price for eating! would try a 2 hours drive back to dalkeith to try it full menu"

"Absolutely loved our evening in the fantastically theatrical, imaginatively furnished, candle-lit Dungeon restaurant (our waiter eventually admitted that it had in fact been the stables, but never mind! Excellent, good value food, attentive, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Rump of lamb with slow-roasted rolled shoulder was particularly good, followed by an excellent cheese selection."

"Great store! The discounts they have is fab. The toilets are very clean and they have surface cleaner in every toilet cubicle. The shop floor is organised, clear and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Parking is great also, being able to park so close and pull in to a pick up zone to pack the car also. I don't have anything to complain about!"
