"My meal was YUK. The shrimp was positively the worst embarrassment of a meal ever. My husband had chicken fried steak. The french fries were great, the cfsteak, not bad. His peas and carrots were mushier than out of a can. Back to my shrimp, Okay I was staving. Ate one and went WHAT.??? Ate part of the second and spit it out. Tried peeling the next, Still a gooey mess. The baked potato was dry. A local actually recommended this to us. Again. YUK. We told the waitress the shrimp was bad and she just ignored the issue. DONT GO HERE. This was our 40th anniversary dinner after a great hike. Way to rain on my anniversary Gold Canyon Cafe."

"Wonderful mom and pop breakfast place. I believe they have lunch too but we've only eaten breakfast there. They have great biscuits and gravy. The eggs are always cooked just like we order them. I recommend this restaurant."
