"L'Un des Sens - One of the Senses. I'm not sure which one. The restaurant looks great (one sense) from the moment of entry. A long room leading to a balcony with a great view over the valley, vineyards and woods in the distance. Stone, off-white coloured walls tastefully decorated with artworks. Wooden tables and comfortable chairs with the tables dressed in the same fabric as the chairs and then with a white tablecloth. Service is impeccable and prompt. A good wine list, mostly of wines of the region and an excellent menu. A choice of two menus, decouverte and degustation and priced from Euro27 to Euro46. There is also an a la carte option. The aromas (another sense) were wonderful and the food tasted (a third sense) absolutely delicious. We had tartare of crab, lamb rack, scallops and chocolate brownie with avocado and banana icecream. All of these dishes were a perfect balance of presentation, flavours and style and of a good size being neither too big nor too small.We dined on a Wednesday evening and there were not many other customers. This restaurant is a real find - in a small village a long way off any regular routes and is, we think, a treasure. It deserves to succeed."
