Soft, well marinated and lacquered meat with a small taste of ginger but certainly not too spicy. For me the Steak tartare with pointed and mayonnaise salad. Fresh service with a beautiful presentation. I like that we can prepare ourselves the steak tartare, but unfortunately it was not the case here if we can be critical. The tartar was well prepared but I missed the capers. For the rest, a well-cut meat of good quality and deliciously melting. Fresh fries of accompaniment were golden yellow and fresh and crunchy salad. With a carafe of 'Yllera temperanillo the pleasure was complete! For dessert, we wanted another Irish coffee. Because of a shortage of whipped cream, I just took a regular coffee where a glass of whisky was added without charge. Not the same of course, but still a nice touch. Bacchus is not the cheapest, but the ingredients seemed fresh and of a correct quality, not to mention that here we are close to the island. Mooi etablissement in een zijstraat van 'Het eilandje'. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal en al direct een stukje brood met tonijndip, (denk ik). Voor mijn ega de gelakte ribbetjes met verse frietjes. Mals vlees, goed gemarineerd en gelakt met een beetje gembersmaak maar zeker niet te pikant. Voor mij de Steak tartaar met spitskoolsalade en verse mayonnaise. Lekker koud geserveerd met een mooie presentatie. Het leuke vind ik dat je de steak tartaar zelf kan bereiden maar dat was hier jammer genoeg niet het geval als we dan toch kritisch mogen zijn. De tartaar was goed bereid maar ik miste de kappertjes. Voor de rest mooi gesneden vlees van goede kwaliteit en lekker mals. De bijbehorende verse frietjes waren goudgeel gekakken en het slaatje vers en knapperig. Met een karafje Yllera temperanillo was het genot compleet! Als dessert wilden we nog een Irish Coffee. Door een tekort aan slagroom heb ik dan maar een gewone koffie genomen waar er een scheut Whisky werd ingedaan zonder aan te rekenen. Niet hetzelfde natuurlijk maar toch een mooie tegemoedkoming. Bacchus is niet de goedkoopste maar de ingrediënten leken mij alvast vers en van een correcte kwaliteit en, niet te vergeten dat we hier dicht aan het eilandje zitten. Overall een mooie prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding met een uitstekende service!"
