"We felt really lucky to have found Divine Fish and Meat. Jolene was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She even offered us a sample of sushi grade tuna. It was buttery and delicious, just as she suggested. We didn't purchase any meat, but the swordfish steaks we bought turned out delicious. The trout and halibut we purchased will be on future menus. We will definitely return. It was worth the hour drive."

"I ordered fish and shrimp to go;noticed it smelled like burnt grease.Ate some;it tasted like burnt grease and had a bunch of crud 9(breading)in the container.Fish was tainted by the taste of burnt grease.I called and complained;the girl swore their was no way the grease could be old or burnt out.Manager called the next day,denying the possibility that the fish was tainted,claiming the brand of oil had been changed to a non-trans-fat oil,but their was no way the grease could be old or burnt out! BALONEY!!! I am a formerchef and corp[orate trainer for huge chains like Tony Romas and Far West services and didn’t have to be in order to smell and taste the burnt out grease in the food! Manager was not respectful,denied everything and offered nothing but denial.Is this what your managers are trained to do?I doubt it.I don’t need some rude manager telling me there’s no way that this could be possible,and will never eat there again!"

"A week ago my two kids came over from Denver. We ate there and had the best Chicken Fried Steak that we have had. This place is off the beaten path of main street in Montrose but it is a great place to go to eat. The restaurant is very clean. Ted Nelson is very friendly and his help really did a wonderful job of serving us. The cook did a great job of preparing the food just the way we wanted it. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!! We will be eating there many times. The prices are very reasonable and the portions were more than we expected."
