"Our stay at the colony was a wonderful experience. Our family rented two cottages, we were able to visit Acadia and Sand Beach just up the road. The owners had a 4th of July cookout for everyone, totally unexpected! The rooms were fully equipped with microwaves, coffee pots and a mini fridge. Bedding and towels were included. Between experiencing The shops and sites the kids enjoyed the pool in the afternoon and the view from our cabin of Frenchman Bay was gorgeous. So nice to relax so close to the village after the fireworks as well. Thanks for a great weekend!"

"The Ivy Manor Inn has exceeded expectations in every way! Hospitality was top-tier, even the man who painted the outside walls left his colour role to open the door for us. Many thoughtful touches, including a bottle of wine in our room and a nice touch, because someone had noticed that my birthday was in two weeks. My partner and I were in the cottage, which was cozy, quiet, and had a very comfortable bed. There were exposed bars, beautiful fireplace and thoughtful decoration in the whole hut. The bathroom was a little tight, but well equipped. Free breakfast and coffee was quite expansive for a continental breakfast. The atmosphere with the garden bar, fire pits and live music on the front lawn was amazing and added a lively mood to join with the public welcome. The location is also great, it is an extremely close walk to all center and a very short drive to Acadia. Would recommend this place to everyone!"
