"Lovée au sein d'un village médiéval juché sur un piton et offrant une vue panoramique, cette maison du 16ème siècle est quasiment confidentielle et intimiste, juste quelques couverts.Très attentif à ses convives, tout en étant discret, avec de l'humour, le propriétaire de l'établissement nous a reçu seul, sa mère qui était encore "aux fourneaux" à un âge ou l'on cultive l'art d'être grand mère, est décédée fin 2016.Une excellente gratinée de queues d'écrevisses, des riz de veau succulents accompagnés de morilles fraîches figuraient parmi les choix possibles, des plats gastronomiques de tradition, fins et servis généreusement.Attention, il faut réserver plusieurs semaines à l'avance , compter de 2 à 3 mois et avoir tout son temps.Si vous aimez les grands restaurants aseptisés avec une nuée de serveurs à votre service, ce lieu n'est pas pour vous.Mais si voulez passer un très bon moment dans l'authenticité d'un établissement vénérable, autour d'un feu de cheminée, en écoutant toutes les musiques que vous aimez, quelle que soit l'époque, et flattez vos papilles, alors je ne peux que vous recommander l'auberge du vieux ternand !"

Nous nous sommes laissé tenter par le menu complet, et nous n'avons pas été déçu tant par la qualité que par l'originalité. Menu enfant pour nos deux bambins qui ont aussi pu goûter aux plats du chef, aménagés pour l'occasion, loin des nuggets frites habituels : ils ont adorés !!Accueil très chaleureux, très bon service, salutation du chef en fin de repas (la veste floquée "Bocuse", on comprend mieux la qualité de ce qu'on vient de déguster..)On s'est trouvé si bien qu'on a terminé par une partie de pétanque juste devant le restaurant, sur la place ombragée qui n'attendait que nous ... Ça vaut vraiment le détour, nous notons cette adresse pour un prochain passage dans les environs..."
