"The new name for The Magic Wok operating out of the same premises. The telephone ordering service has certainly improved and is less fraught than previously. The food arrived piping hot and well within the expected time quoted. Might be our imagination, but we fell...Ho Chak are using less additives, as the usual after effects were not experienced on those occasions we have used them recently. Well worth trying if you were disappointed by The Magic Wok."

"Have used this restaurant on previous occasions for a take away, they charge restaurant prices but the food is very good, However, on New Years Eve I phoned at lunchtime to ask if they were delivering that evening, the answer was absolutely yes via the just eat or Deliveroo site.. I pre ordered to ensure we were catered for… to my amazement at 7pm the order was declined, I phoned the restaurant to ask why and the response was they had no recollection of this order and also they were too busy.. this is slightly baffling as they were the ones that cancelled it… I understand it’s a busy evening but don’t promise what you can’t deliver"
