"We came upon this by chance driving south of the Cevennes National Park. Its smart canopy caught the eye from the road and closer inspection revealed a bustling Sunday lunchtime trade and plenty of parking. There were reasonably priced regional dishes and a buffet for starters and desserts. Our three course menu cost 17 euros each, plus a little more for wine, mineral water and coffee. We ate outside on the busy terrace in the shade of the canopy, going inside to help ourselves to the buffet laid out in a large indoor dining room where there was also a large party eating. There were customers drinking in the large bar too. It was mainly a local clientele and the cheerful waitress made us feel welcome. It was a refreshing and relaxing stop on our journey and one we would gladly make again."
