"The place is always so nice, so calm, the welcome always good. Only cooking according to is no longer as relevant. We discovered the place two years ago, the dishes were more refined, the combination of tastes more harmonious. A little disappointment then, although we were happy to find the place again. "Un été de canicule, nous recherchons un restaurant avec un extérieur ombragé et frais! Trouvé, la brasserie Mont Plaisir, niché aux pieds des Pyrénées juste à côté des grottes de Bétharram si célèbres ! Cet un ancien restaurant qui renait de ces cendres ! Longtemps oublié et laissé à l'abandon, une nouvelle équipe à fait d'énormes travaux de rénovation des lieux et à ouvert cette brasserie. L'accueil est agréable, nous choisissons une table sur la terrasse de bois très ombragée par de grands arbres aussi vieux que le restaurant d'avant ! Nous sommes au calme, au frais, et nous optons pour le menu du jour à 15€ avec deux choix d'entrées, deux choix de plats et plusieurs desserts. Voici ce que nous avons choisi : en entrée une assiette de jambon du Pays (Bayonne) au melon, autant vous dire que l'assiette est copieuse pas moins de 5 tranches de jambon bien bon, et des dès de melon posés dessus, puis en plat, un demi poulet salade et frites, très copieuse là aussi cette assiette on n'a pas pu tout finir, et au dessert nous avons pris les profiteroles au chocolat chantilly; on n'avez vraiment plus faim pour longtemps; La salle intérieure est immense et magnifique, ! Bravo à vous les restaurateurs d'avoir remis en route cette vieille bâtisse et de bien travailler pour nous donner un goût de "revenez y", c'est d'ailleurs ce que l'on va faire !"
