"Very rude and honestly biased service I have to reimagine. As a black man in Santa clara, you do this regularly. Not only white people, but also other people of color. I went in after I went to the cupcake shop and bought a next door. I have a small box that you can hold in your hand with a single cupcake. No backpack, no jacket. And shorts. I went in, greeted the man behind the register and went to the drinks. After they had seen a wide selection of drinks and that I had not seen many of them, I began to search the back wall full of single drinks. Then maybe after 5 minutes of surfing (I left the Santa clara campus at 11:30 walk and went for a cupcake first thought you, not rushing) I'm confronted by the man behind the register that I've been there for 15 minutes and that I can't just be in the store without buying anything. I literally had two drinks in my hands looking between them both. Obviously not loitering. So I went politely. Unfortunately, this is what people treat color. I don't know where I didn't want to. And the store owner will probably try to react as many other people do with excuses, but telling an honest account is not evil. It's just sad. I hope others don't have to know."

"Starbird is a beloved chicken spot that offers tons of options from salads, wings, tenders, tacos etc. Have been ordering from here for years and they have not disappointed. Sauces are unique and delicious my favorites are the Seoul spicy sauce and greek yogurt ranch. The prices are fair for the portion size and quality of food. Definitely would recommend Thai and Buffalo wings, another favorite is the Nashville hot tenders its just the right amount of spicy. For a 'fast food ' there are some pretty healthy options here and even a plant based option. Lastly I can 't end this review without mentioning the cookies, they taste freshly baked and are a definite must try!"

"Fries are undercooked burger looks like someone smashed it. I GENERALLY do not complain about fast food but this was terrible. I asked for a receipt and they looked at me like I was stupid. Worse is the fact that I even rounded up for their charity."

"My wife and I came here at around noon on a Monday. The restaurant is an outdoor counter-serve joint with plenty of tables and really fun and interesting murals about their history on the walls. We both ordered small gyros with a side of fries, a side of stuffed grape leaves, and an orange freeze. Gyro was great, chock full of very well seasoned and perfectly cooked meat! The fries are excellently crispy and salty. The grape leaves were tangy and flavorful. And the orange freeze was a delicious dreamsicle of a way to wash the whole thing down! (I will never apologize for my pun, don't even think about asking) TL;DR Great concept and better food, solid traditional American and Middle Eastern eats at a nice casual outdoor eatery"
