"The 3rd time we have visited Holt fish bar and we are never disappointed. Staff are friendly. The shop is clean and tidy even with renovations going on.We will be back again in June,all the way from Suffolk."

"These guys have made a huge investment and replaced everything in Alberts Fish Bar. There is now a new addition to the menu, Shawarma. I had the shawarma meat tray which comes with salad and chips with a choice of sauces…amazing flavour. My partner had her favourite, cod and chips, again cooked to order and always so tasty. All food here is cooked to order. They do get busy because their food is very good. Expect to wait whilst the cook your food for you. The wait is worth it as they always produce the best fish and chips. I think the last comment was somewhat harsh when you consider all the other positive comments. This team have a passion to deliver the best , and they definitely do that."

"Super fish and chips! very pleased that we stumbled over this place after 2 other chippies have found closed for bank holiday. I hadn't heard a big dinge about fish and chips here, but that was a good example, and the staff was also super friendly. great witness."

"So we got compensation for the dinner here. We had to get a new waiter COs unfortunately the one before got our drinks wrong. The new waiter was fantastic. The fish and chips here I would recommend as the safest option to be honest. Overall he was friendly and nice. This place looked very nice and clean. Would recommend here as it’s like five minutes walking distance from the lodges."
