"My wife, 14 year old son and I had a terrific meal at La Belle Vue in June 2011. I highly recommend the restaurant. Michelin gives the restaurant (in its 2011 edition) a bib gourmand rating, and Gault Millau gives it two toques. They both are spot on. There are a variety of menus you can construct we went with the one that allowed you to have 3 courses for 33 euros. You can pick any of 4 or 5 entrees, 4 or 5 main courses, and the same number of desserts. I had a first course entitled a texture of tomatoes . In essence, three preparation of tomatoes. One was a vinaigrette, with onions, one included balsamic vinegar, and one had what I think were pureed peas. Each different from the other, and each celebrating a different aspect of the flavor and texture of tomatoes. Inspired. My main course was veal with potatoes, peas and rich veal stock. There was also what I believe to be veal tongue wrapped around a potato. It preserved the essence of the veal taste, and was very good. My dessert was a sorbet with meringue, served over pralines with grapefruit flesh scattered throughout. It was memorable. Both the wife and son praised their meals the both had a chicken stuffed with rabbit with foie gras on the side. The service was good, and the bread and amuse bouche (a tomato gazpacho) terrific. The room had a clean modern decor, with a large window at one end (we sat right in the middle of the window, with a great view of the Vosges). There was no detectable English spoken (of offered on the menu). But that didn 't adversely affect the meal at all. I 'd come back in a heartbeat."

"Perfect from beginning to end! We thank you for all your attention for our anniversary, which has been amusing us! It was a magical moment, we'll come back for sure! As for the gourmet restaurant everything was perfect it was an explosion of flavors, we enjoyed ourselves, congratulations to the chef and thank you for the special attentions for the event, thank you Shanna for the impeccable service, thank you to the sommelier for his advice on a very good wine and thank you to the person who found the table at the last minute. The taste is very good, breakfast also. The perfect spa! All facilities are very clean. Congratulations to the whole team We are going to have fun but we will return with great pleasure"
