"We were showing relatives around PERTH and decided to go for lunch at this little cafe and winery. It is one of our favorites in the Swan Valley and is uniformly good. You can sit outside whilst you eat and gaze across the vineyards, whilst eating food from a small but tasty menu. The wine tasting is free (as is postage within Australia). We tasted a pleasant Malbec and a nice Shiraz. The Malbec complimented our meal perfectly. We ordered duck confit and pasta with tomatoes, spinach, cheese and pine nuts. All meals were well cooked and prepared while you wait, which makes the service a little slow. The cost for two courses, coffee and wine was about $50 per head. Whilst the restaurant was pretty empty on this occasion, it does get busy in the warmer weather so it is prudent to book. The outdoor area is suitable for disabled people (didn’t check the bathroom). Parking is sometimes a problem due to overflow from the restaurant over the road."

"Visiting Perth w my family and had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sandalford Winery swan valley. Booked the winemaker apprenticeship experience after seeing online and getting intrigued. And rightfully so! It was a truly unique experience guided by Stephen the assistant Cellar door manager. He was knowledgeable and patient in guiding us and sharing w us more on the scent, colour and taste of wines. We had a mini competition amongst the six of us to see who had the best blend. Many thanks to Stephen for making this experience so wonderful and memorable Megan was our guide after, for the winery tour and she was truly v well versed in the processes and the questions about the winery. We had lunch at the in house restaurant after and the food, especially entrees were amazinggg. Please do try the autumn set menu. Really wonderful experience made top notch by Stephen and team"

"We had a big group with a set menu which seemed quite expensive when you compared against prices in the actual menu. Staff were ok - didn't seem to go out of their way. We were offered free tasting....but to be honest, was so crowded in there, wasn't possible. Markup on some of the wines was a bit crazy. All in all, was okay. Wouldn't go rushing back."
