"My boyfriend and I are epicureans and we were not disappointed. Not only did we eat an exceptional meal for the price of unsustainable quality, but also we were advised directly by the restaurateur (very pleasant and friendly) for the discovery of a good bottle of wine to accompany our meal. It was recommended and we were not really disappointed, on the contrary. Between lovers, family or friends, we recommend you go with your eyes closed for a restaurant that deserves to be known."
The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in nice weather, And into the accessible rooms also come visitors with wheelchairs or physical disabilities.

"After a certain party has voiced her personal opinion on this site and intimated that the opinion that she voiced was that of the group as a whole (Not my or many of my friends idea of a nice night out with good food!) I felt compelled to comment here. What can one say, I too was invited to said birthday meal and I sat not three places from said detractor, but I seemed to have been to a totally different event, or indeed in this case, a different planet. The primary objective of this evening was to celebrate a land mark anniversary of a much respected and loved person within our midst. Many venues were discussed and obviously it is impossible to please everyone. Lou Cigaloun became the choice for many reasons The two primary reasons being, very friendly staff, and as we all seem to agree, at some point or other, good food at very good prices. To come up with a menu at such events to please everyone is near on impossible, and to cater for the budget of all those attending equally hard. I think Lou Cigalon rose to the challenge admirably. All twenty four plus covers arrived upon the table within five minutes of service commencing. This in itself is impressive given the size of the kitchen. As to the quality of the food, everybody I entered into discourse with enjoyed the entrée, The main was a “Mezza” of sorts, which I particularly enjoyed, but I can understand might not have suited some of the older, more conservative pallets amongst us. Again, the same goes for the desert. Well presented, tasty and efficiently delivered to the table. As to the entertainment, upon booking Lou Cigalons staff were reluctant to accommodate us for this particular date, stressing this was to be music of a very French Provencal nature. In short, well sung folk songs from the region, well known to the local populace, but might not be to everybody’s taste. Indeed the locals seemed to enjoy the repertoire immensely. But, to compare this to a Glasgow pub, well I had to laugh out loud, as I have personally frequented the afore mentioned establishments upon many an occasion, Glasgow this was not. Half a dozen octogenarians sitting at a table singing and clapping along to old folk songs does not constitute, Hogmanay in Govan. So to the night itself, well done Lou Cigalons and its staff. Thank you for accommodating us, with your very friendly, service and providing good food at ridiculously cheap prices. It is a sad reflection in our modern digital society that interactive sites such as this one, seem to be patronised by people who wish to vent their sputum, without first taking the time to realize the potential damage they can do to another person’s livelihood. Perhaps first taking time to consider a more pragmatic, less vitriolic, overview of this evenings proceedings, might have resulted in more constructive overview, rather than a rant more akin to that of a truculent, hormonal, adolescent, aspiring to be Egon Ronay, but coming across more like Anne Robinson. The meal was €25 euros a head, they didn’t want our booking, they did this as a favour to certain individuals. The place is excellent value for money with a good local reputation, which is justly deserved, and wrongly slighted here. Just try to get a table on a Sunday lunch without reserving. This in its self speaks volumes for the place!"
A visit to Lou Cigaloun becomes even more rewarding due to the comprehensive variety of coffee and tea specialties, In addition, you'll find sweet delicacies, cake, small snacks and chilled refreshments and hot drinks here. Moreover, they offer you delicious dishes in the manner of French cuisine, the menu also includes tasty vegetarian dishes.

"I have been to this restaurant times and unfortunately the quality went from great to worse.... The tents are absolutely beautiful and thats about it. I arrived with a total of two persons. We were not greated well and the manager was relunctant to...provide a table to us because we did not reserve. During the whole dinner period we were not given any prices. You will find out how much your dinner cost at the end. No receipt provided. We took a bottle of Rose without any indication of the price.....same for the couscous or tagine. We were not allowed to choose if we wanted chicken or lamb. It is mandatory to take a menu (around euro) consisting of an excellent starter and dessert. Both tagines we ordered were not very good. The chicken lemon one had a canned pea taste and the lamb tagine was full of sugar. Fair enough the meat was well cooked. Maroccan being one of my favorite kitchen, i can compare the quality very well with other restaurants. My chicken tagine consisted of a small piece of chicken leg. Ouch for the price you pay... Last point...horrible service. Staff is not attentionate and it will be the last time i come here."
The premises on site are wheelchair accessible and can also be used with a wheelchair or physical limitations, Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside and have something.
