The small town of Baruth could be very beautiful and also very attractive (was it good luck, there was still a pizzeria, but a province of Pizzeria in Brandenburg, I lacked the courage. "The “Waldschlößchen” lies so lonely on the local beach of Klasdorf and is so conveniently located directly on the B 96 federal road between Baruth and Golßen and on the Klasdorfer Bahnlinie Berlin Dresden. The forest has over 100 years of history. It was opened in 1894, even under the name “Waldschlößchen”. World War II was the end of the inn. It was closed since 1945 and used as a residential house. Only after the turn, the current owners opened the “Waldschlößchen” as a restaurant and pension. In addition to the rooms in the house you can also sit on the terrace or in the garden in the warm season. When you enter the house, you get some time. Although everything is renovated and beautifully decorated, the old house has a little fascinated the feeling of the past, which should not be negative now. The greeting was, as always, beautiful and friendly. The map came immediately. The selection is not luxurious but completely sufficient: salads 3,90 – 7,60 €uro, soups daily, appetizers 3,50 – 5,20 €uro; other baked spices and baked camembert, fish 10,20 – 10,90 €uro; Redfish, salmon, trout, wild 11,10 11,50 €uro; Harepot and wild roasts, whose wild roast is usually only on the target of hunters. the offer is complemented by ice; Dessert and cake. "September 2014 At the beginning of September 2014 we wanted to return to Keglerheim. When we approached, we saw the four tables were on the veranda. The host only served someone but went in. We were not greeted. For a moment we were undecided at the entrance. Should we go in despite the beautiful weather? I noticed all the conversations were lost, we were stared. In the transition to the interior I saw other garden chairs. That's how I went in. The host disappeared behind the vault. I looked around the corner and asked kindly if he had another table for the terrace. No, no, no, no, no, no. There were still the same operators that were on site for a long time. We remembered them much more friendly and accommodating. Whatever may have been the reason for the strange behavior, we will not interfere again. From the former four is reduced to two stars. The second star is for the good, inexpensive food. We have arrived several times in this place. The last visit dates from several years. We had always kept it in good memory. This weekend we were back in Baruth. My companion suggested that you could try again at the place that is still present after so long years. If you drive from Berlin to Baruth, the place is located at the beginning of the village on the right side. A sign shows the way because something is hidden. On this beautiful sunny day at the end of September there were two tables on the veranda in front of the house. One of them in the sun, we took place. The host, a friendly older gentleman, immediately appeared with the cards. Many other dishes were found on numerous tables on the veranda and the entrance hall. There we also joined: Szegedin Gulasch with bread for small hunger. That was enough for us, in the afternoon we wanted to bite something and then drink coffee. The host explained for reasons of clarity what we would have expected to eat. It corresponded exactly to our expectations: Everyone received a well-filled plate with a kind of stew in which goulash, sour wort and potato pieces were mixed. It tasted excellent. Then coffee and cake. I forgot the beloved milk coffee or Cappucino: I wasn't sure if there was an espresso machine or a powder. The cup of coffee served was tidy. Add poppy and cheesecake that was delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is something for the GDR nostalgic. The Gaststube and the neighbouring hall were built decades ago. On the wall of the guest room there was a window behind which I discovered the bowling alleys. The toilets are relatively new. I mean to remember that they used to be somewhere else; to reach the veranda. Today they can be found behind the hall. Of course clean and modern furnishings. The Keglerheim is a fairly simple place where you can eat amazingly good and very cheap."
