"Omg the experience is horrible, low quality of food and bad atmosphere inside the restaurant. I had no choice but to choose this overrated restaurant for my dinner since many good restaurants were closed on Monday. When I entered the restaurant, I felt uncomfortable, it’s...very dark with outdated decoration. But I still felt good with the concept since I have tried some good ones in mainland Portugal. My husband and I ordered 2 plates of beef accompany with simple salads and a bowl of fries. The waitress has given us a set of sauces and the burning stone without any plate to let us cut our meats! We have to cut our meats either on the stone or a small area next to the stone, that is unbelievable! The meats often got burnt by staying too close to the stone. Besides, I was sweating so much because of the poor ventilation! As for the meats, there were chewy and no seasoning at all, even the sauces and the fries! I wonder how can everything goes so wrong in this restaurant?! Azorean beef supposed to be super juicy and tender even with a bit of salt on top. Worst experience ever! Waste of money and time! You have many other good restaurants in the island with high quality of food and better price."

"We fought to find somewhere to eat on Sunday night and settled in this restaurant and were very glad that we did. We couldn't get a table until late (9:30) and had only one main course. The Tomahawk-Steak catches our eye and so we ordered one to share. It was fabulous, tasty and juicy, delicious in your mouth. Probably expensive and worth a visit."

"After two weeks eating Azorians food, we needed a change. The three of us had a different meal, and we all agree that was excellent. For me it is the best sweet saour chicken I have ever eaten in years. What a nice...surprise to find a chinese restaurant in the middle of the Atlantic, and in addition, that good !"

"The hotel is just amazing with greatest view from the room with terrace the ocean, the harbour, the Pico Island. The staff is so polite and very helpfull. The woman which works at the lobby bar is incredible and makes everything for the clients. The wifi is a little bit slow, but hey we are in the middle of the ocean. The reception staff and the bell boys are just great. I recommend the hotel and the island. A little renovation will improve the impression of the stay"

"In this restaurant we had the worst experience in Azores, and we visited several restaurants. Everything was very bad, from beverages to food. The fish was definitely not fresh and had a really bad taste. The clamps were not from Portugal and were cooked with bacon, I had never seen something like that in Portugal, it was very bad. The octopus salad was not a salad, more a kind of soup of tentacles in olive oil. Last but not least, bread was hard like stone. Most incredibly, it was expensive considering portuguese restaurant’s standards. The only good thing was the kindness of the waiters, although it could not compensate for the bad food quality."
