"I am a fort mcmurray evacuee, went here for a meal, place clean and the food we had was very good. We got it for free because we are evacuees. And this restaurant is staying open 24/7 the next while for us evacuees. My heartfelt thanks as when we landed in smokey lake very early weds morn, nothing for food or shelter, but in redwater we found both! All i can say is food is very good and i will pay"

"Was very friendly service and great food.The menu is good with a variety of foods and prepared with care. The parking lot may look empty but make you check for the open sign. Will visit again when I can. Well worth the stop for the home made taste."

"We tend to drive through a town before selecting a place to dine. This cafe is at the backend of the town at the end of the main street. Having viewed the other restaurants this was our last place to see. The others had a few cars - this one had a whole lot of cars. It is well worth the visit.They do not have a menu as they use fresh ingredients from the store. We had incredible chicken parmesan on a homemade incredibly fresh bun. They gave is a free bottle of water with our meal. The prices are excellent with a 15% discount for seniors. The place is spotless as are the washrooms. Service was quick and served with a smile. The owner personally came over to be sure we were 100% happy and welcome us to her establishment. It is clear she is a very successful business owner. There is even an outdoor patio!To top it off there are homemade desserts but even better homemade artisan ice cream. My friend had Jack daniels while I had rum and raisin. The raisins were soaked in real rum.Whenever we go to see my friend's family north of Redwater this is a required stop for sure!"
