"The quality of food was good, the place was busy and the staff kept on the zehen. we used the online booking that was good, impressed to get a call to inform that it ran out of an article, so there was a wee delay from the original estimated time for picking up. there were many people who commanded themselves for the search and new people who came in were uncertain where they were in wait. employees sometimes called people, but maybe something could be done to better manage it) personal friendly and helpful."

"The sun dancer provided us with an alternative menu due to dietary needs, I did not ever expect to see so many options that I've never came across before! The food was absolutely beautiful, I even tried food I never normally liked and 100% enjoyed it! The service was great and cocktails are delicious"

"We haven’t stayed here yet but we have had some wonderful authentic home cooked meals. The welcome is always exceptional and we used to live close but now we’ve moved further away we still like to come here for some great comfort food. Service is always personal and exceptional at that. The meals are large in size and very tasty. Great value for money. Lovely old property. Home from home. See you again soon. Rooms: 5"

"Hugely disappointed with Sun Dancer, we’re in Nairn for 3 nights visiting from Edinburgh, we booked two nights at the Sun dancer as we’d visited and enjoyed dinner last year. Tonight was so disappointing, it was dire. I had the fish and chips, it should have not left the kitchen, not sure what quality control the chef has in place but any decent chef would not send out a dish with chips under cooked and fish with batter that was soggy and bland! I’m not sure if the fish had been frozen and the chips certainly suggested they were frozen. When you are in a party of 4 you don’t want to spoil the atmosphere by complaining but I ate little and did mention to the waitress when the plates were taken, her response was oh they like to get feedback! Really! .. she should have removed it from the bill! My friends mother had lemon posset! It was awful, hard and not as a posset should be, we did complain about that and to be fair to them they removed from the bill. We left a gratuity as it’s not the waiting staff’s issue however, being so disappointed with the quality of food and responses from staff, I unfortunately would not like to go back!"

"Ate here on a Thursday evening. Nicely busy, great atmosphere. Small plates all exquisitely executed. Lovely flavours. The wine shop is a great addition as are the choice of wine flights. A great find for a lovely well priced evening out"

"We went there New Year’s Day as nothing else was open. I had a chicken bursa which was like no kebab I have ever had. I asked for it to come with no mozzarella???? (On a kebab!?!?! but was told that was how it came. My wife had a really dried out burger with no salad. We even went back 2 days later thinking nowhere could be that bad, surely? How wrong were we. Again 2 dried out burgers. They even asked us if we would like salad. We said we did yet they still didn’t put any in!! Incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe the staff in here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY"
