"Being less then ten minutes to drive to from my house, it 's perfect for all those nights you just don 't want to cook. Doesn 't taste like corporate food, ie: prefrozen, microwaved, you get the idea. They 've got a little bit of everything and they 've never said no we can 't do that if i asked for a modification. And above the good food, the staff there have always been super friendly and some of the nicest staff at a restaurant I 've ever come across. Specifically two of the ladies at the counter who I 've been seeing there for as long as i can remember. Keep up the good work guys!!"

"You will not be living until you take a bite of this pizza. I have to be honest, I do not like a lot of sauce on my pizza so when I first saw the sauce I was like Oh, no! But it is THE PERFECT AMOUNT! Everything is freshly made or locally sourced.They make fresh mozzarella and fire roasted tomato sauce daily. Yes, you can buy both ingredients so don 't forget to grab thembefore you leave. The pizza is fire roasted and made faster than you can blink because of the temperature. The owner took timeto speak with us and was super friendly as was the chef working. I can not recommend this place enough!"

"In the early 1990s as a young boy free from the confessions of the middle school, we would simply put into the city for a slice of “Ben’s Pizza” race, this place is iconic. Many leave Red Hook and when they come back, also for a short visit and stop in village Pizza is a must. Today I'm not a pizza eater, but every Friday with my kids we always get a pizza from Village. Prices cheap food: 30 plus years old does not speak for itself. Joe and Ben from Village Pizza are icons. If you are one of our many visits Downstate “Friends” this may not be a posh Brooklyn food, this place is legend."
