"Das Mon étagère ist neu in Neuenegg. Es ist nicht bloß ein Café, es ist Blumen, Café & mehr, wie die drei sympathischen Besitzerinnen bekennen.Im Gast-Verkaufsraum stehen nur wenige Tische in angenehmem Abstand zu einander. Damit erreicht man eine gewisse Ruhe und Behaglichkeit für die Tee und Kaffee trinkenden Gäste, während andere Kundschaft sich damit befasst, zum Beispiel einen Blumenstrauss zu kaufen oder sich die anderen schönen Dinge, wie Kärtchen oder Kränze und Aufstellsachen anzusehen. Das Gebäck des Cafés ist hausgemacht und von allerfeinster Qualität. Der Kaffee ist gut und der Tee stammt aus dem Teeladen der Familie Lange in der Berner Länggasse (Länggasstee).Ich empfehle, sollte sich jemand von euch einmal in Neuenegg aufhalten, einen Besuch im Mon étagère zu einem Tee, einem Kaffe und einem Gebäck, süss oder salzig und wer weiss, vielleicht nehmt ihr auch gleich noch einen Strauss Blumen für die/den Liebste/n mit."

"We had kangaroo and pork with champignons - both were excellent, place itself is very nice service is very good, food is served fast and professional. We had great time, one can also play mini-golf there :D I would recommend ice-cream for dessert and they have also delicious mango sorbet.Why very good and not excellent? well, we paid ~100 chf / 2 people. it is NOT VERY MUCH for Switzerland, but still... anyway if you never had kangaroo try it there"

"After a 14km cycle in 30+ temperatures, we stopped off for drinks and a portion of chips, which cost an outrageous 9.50. After paying for the bill, I asked for a glass of tap water for my wife. The lady behind the bar proceeded to pour a wine glass measure of water and after asking for a larger glass, I was told that anything larger is not “gratis”. I think that’s an atrocious attitude given the current heatwave. It’s not as if we’d sat and only drank water; we’d spend almost 25. on drinks and food. Most establishments would be happy to serve cold water to guests. We will not be returning in a hurry."
