"We stopped here in one of the caravans on site that was clean and tidy and an ideal base for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales. The caravan was clean and tidy and ideal accommodation for whaat we needed. We only stopped a couple of nights so didn't get to explore the site to get the best of the facilities. Being close to Ruthin, there was shops close by for the self catering break and take aways if you're not up to cooking. What I would say is depending on which caravan you have, you'll need to take care on some of the paving as large trees have lifted some of thee slabss on the access to the van. Even though we've had a wet summer, the grounds were well maintained as we're the vans."

"We had dinner with friends, the service was very friendly but the food was pretty slow at arriving at our table. The food was good but the coffee left a lot to be desired. The cost was reasonable enough but we did only have a main course, no starter or pudding. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again unless I happened to be staying in a caravan on the site."
