"My visit to Restaurant du Lac was a thoroughly positive experience that I can highly recommend to everyone. From the first moment we were warmly welcomed, and the ambience of the restaurant right on the shore of Lake Biel was breathtaking. The scenic view of the lake coupled with the soothing sound of the water created a perfect backdrop for our meal. As far as the dining experience goes, the highlight was definitely the pike. I have rarely enjoyed such exquisitely prepared fish. It was perfectly seasoned, golden on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside a true masterpiece of culinary art. The Härdöpfeli complemented the dish harmoniously and rounded off the taste experience. The staff was extremely friendly and competent, gave us recommendations and made sure we didn't lack anything. In short, Restaurant du Lac offers a fantastic combination of delicious food, breathtaking views and first class service. A visit here is not just a meal, but a holistic experience. If you are on Lake Biel and are looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, you should definitely visit Restaurant du Lac."

"Not sure what to say about this place. it is definitiw not “ deserve”. but there are so many weak, I fight to give him a “very good”. but I give the place the advantage of the doubt. they have some beautiful dishes with very unique. but they must ask for things that are often not on the menu (e.g. salat with this celery-like green vegetables I have never seen before as much they offer some beautiful aromas, they also get much wrong. I never had a fish dish there that was not overcooked and the place has absolutely no charm; it feels cheap and transient. and the server lacks any kind of class and personality."
