"So ive been here twice and personally had great experiences both times and the food was delicious. They are definitely short staffed so if its packed im assuming you likely will run into more problems with food quality and service but the two times i went after skiing around 5 6pm on a Saturday food was great. Service can be a bit hit or miss two of us had our food come out right away the other like 15min later. But it was delicious! But i’d def give them a try! Esp if its not too busy."

"We were skeptical about this place due to Yelp reviews were 3 and 1/2 stars. Superb roasted rice, spring rolls, chicken salad and chicken stuff. The yellow curry was disappointed, but the Panang Curry turned on it. Her drunk noodles were also delicious. Very recommended!!"

"We did not have that great experience. First of all they did not pick the call for almost 1 hour 30 minutes. We were trying call and confirm the restraunt is open and not closed given the unprecedented times and also to place an order to pick up. This was around 6:00 in the evening. We finally drove down around the Tahoe City downtown and happened to see this place was open. When we inquired the person said he does not pick the calls when busy??. There was not a single person in the restaurant when we reached. The food we picked up was pathetic, the red curry was so watery that by the time we reached our hotel the water was at the bottom. I would not reccomend this restaurant to anyone."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the sushi at Tahoe City Sushi. The quality was great, and they had a full page of veggie and vegan roll options as well as a killer miso soup. I tried the Futo roll- it was filled with carrot, avocado, inari (tofu wrapper), and cucumber. Check it out!"

"Theoretically it tastes good, but the group order I got was missing significant meat choices and sides that had been ticked (shrimp, avocado, pineapple, etc. , which was not disclosed by the staff at the time of ordering. The only disclosures were low white rice and seaweed. They also appear severely understaffed, so expect a long wait. For $18 a bowl, the value is highly questionable."
