"An institution on Queensway for over 45 years, where my dad used to pick dinner from here! This is a classic, no frills fish and chips diner. The fish was fresh and had a nice ratio of batter to fish. Fries were of the fairly run of the mill, thick cut pub variety. Portion to price ratio, I would have liked to see a bigger piece of fish (ordered the halibut for $18 (1 piece of halibut, fries and a drink .Atmosphere wise, it appears the decor was maintained since the late 70s (maybe a refurbishment to keep the look and feel since then? . It's no date place, yet there is still table service.If half stars were possible, I would give this a solid 3.5 star rating for the food. Better fish and chips can be found elsewhere, yet this will still satisfy your craving."

"Was a pleasant time over all. Felt a little harassed by the waiters, but none were rude, a bit over attentive. Our food was the problem, our food was over cooked, to the point my friend struggled with her crawfish and I had a plastic like taste too my mussels and clams, I also felt sick after, tasted good otherwise! "We had a great experience to be my first visit with friends. We were greeted and watched by the exposed kitchen where the action was great. Our articles started with some Agedashi Tofu, Tempura Shrimp and Veggie, Vegetable stirrup fry, Lobster...Roll, Soft Shell Crab Tempura Style, and Karaage Chicken along with a delicious compliment Lachs avocado sashimi flavor. It was all very well presented with professional results. Gojima was a good dinning experience we all enjoyed. The snake was good too."
