"We drive 15mi and pass lots of Mexican Restaurants to go here to eat for the great quality of food. We have always had great service except for last night. Absolutely horrible service. "Today this place has 5 groups of people going to my party of 2. As such we were somewhat neglected, but I don't owe the place. It was a situation. The food here is always good. Service is usually very good. I'm going back."

"Super disappointed! We've been here for 5 years and sent friends and family here! Tonight was terrible! It was like the 2 servers in the restaurant were in a fight and we were stuck in the middle! We sat and said the other was our server. He took our job and then literally didn't come to our table. We had to ask the coach after 30 minutes if our queen was ready for us. We asked random employees twice if they could grab our server for us, but our server NIE also came to our table after the request. Then an hour after we order food, we asked if it was ready what we had asked them to leave and come for us. Mine came out cold in the middle. We then asked ourselves to talk to the manager I don't think there was one on the staff because we were asked for the first time that we were told that there was one helper. Then, after he had asked to speak with the manager again, the other server came and pretended to be the manager, but did not take accountability and did not even give a good excuse. He even said they couldn't take my order back in time! Then they seemed to have accused us for children's meals, although children eat free on Tuesday! I would have gone out without this terrible experience, but I didn't want to put a bad example for my children. I'm so disappointed because that was our goal earlier. Not anymore. Don't go here."

"Before my experience, I would have given Chimi 's a 4 or 5 star, but I had a terrible experience hosting a party in their back room. We called 2 weeks prior to a 40th birthday party asking for the back room. Gave someone all of our info, name, number, and number of people attending. Upon arrival, the staff had no idea of our party and were very rude at wanting to accommodate us. At one point, telling us they will not do separate checks for our guests and suggested we come back tomorrow if we don 't like it. Well, with 20-25 people attending, that was not an option. Our service was slow and tables that were also sharing our verbally rented space were getting much more attention from the staff then our party of 20. We had to get our own salsa/chips 15 minutes after guests arrived, get our own menus, and ask for silverware. We were clearly unwanted guests and treated like a burden. Upon getting our checks we were charged 25% gratuity on our bill. Their menu lists an 18% gratuity for parties of 10 or more. We were told we were being charged 1% for every guest. This is absolutely unheard of! They fixed this on our bills, but only after we noticed the large charge, complained, and showed them their own personal policy on the menu. I, personally, have never been treated so rudely by a restaurant. We will be finding a new Mexican restaurant, which makes me sad."
