"This little restaurant looks kind of inconspicuous, but don't let yourself be fooled. The whole food is vegan, and when we went, there was a monk food, so that was a good security. The workers speak Mandarin and the menu is in Chinese, so you should translate what you want to eat before you arrive. I highly recommend the sesame noodles (ma jiang) with spinach and cabbage ZEIT or Gān miàn. Very inexpensive food and very good. Also, Sùshí means herbal food, not raw fish, LOL..."

"Super cool little sushi spot. The food is tasty and the chefs are fun and really hospitable. Quite a few foreigners frequent here and an English menu is available. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for affordable quality sushi in a very chill environment."

"I lunched here earlier. I thought it was very enjoyable at the time. I tried to stick to vegetable dishes rather than mock meats. However having said that, if as the current wording accompanying the listing has some validity in the question of egg and or dairy being used in the mock meats, then cross contamination is inevitable from the use of one person using a pair of tongs per person in serving. It would be very good if someone was able to get to the bottom of this question. That would potentially make a big difference to my rating."

"Reliable, fast, not too bold, tasteful and great variety! Most dishes are vegan, but the one at the end of the buffet line had egg in it. I went to the 10th floor in building A. Much space to sit and hang around with friends. Only NT$16 per 100 g food from 12:30-13:30, but the selection is smaller as the early bird gets the worm. (NT$18 per 100 g between 11:30-12:30. Purple rice available: NT$5 for a small bowl or NT$10 for a big one. They have reusable stirrups and plates (when also made of melamine) and there is a tray of spices on the other side of the cash register. The day I went, I especially enjoyed the green Papaya salad. Most dishes, however, are Taiwanese."

"It was in this restaurant that I learned the hard lection that 五 does not mean vegan. I thought it would be vegan with five stinging seasonings that I am in order, but they have also added milk products to my burger and I am not sure whether the patty they have used also contains eggs. I was so upset that I didn't fight with them and left. Make sure to tell them that they do not eat milk or eggs if they want to be sure that they serve vegan food!"

"I was pleasantly surprised to find a place with vegan bark soup. this is such an iconic Taiwanese court that I highly recommend to take all visitors there to try it without cruelty. it actually tasted very close to the version with meat: my guess is that the bark was a kind of mushroom strain, not a processed plant protein. the seasons are perfectly matched to what they would expect from the traditional version. they simply notify the personal when they order that they don't want to hurry: I'm not sure if they actually put one in there, but it never hurts to be clear."

"The chief lady was allergic to talking to me: I asked for a recommendation and she just told me to read the menu itself. At the end of the meal, when I asked about her business hours, she said: "Our business cards are at the front. It has all our information.” What? It will kill you to talk to your customers? Jesus. Learn some customer service skills. The vegan oyster pancake was a bit bland, and the vegan ginger duck noodles used a mock duck that was sponge and almost tasteless. Don't come back."

"After moving to their new location, they stopped selling their barked dumplings. But they cooked dumplings. They also gave every customer a free orange at the Lantern Festival. I'm not sure if it was just for the vacation or if they had only a number of oranges they had to get rid of, but it was a sweet gesture either way. — This small restaurant is operated by an older couple that connects the whole process to the day team. The woman made the bulk of cooking and ordering, while the man made their signature pot stickers on an oversized grid near the entrance and issued the commands. I asked the man if one of the menu points had milk or eggs, and he replied that all they do is vegan, but they can not guarantee the fake meat content they buy from elsewhere. (They are along the wall for the Bento boxes. So I have clearly steered and went with her handmade ramen (NT$40, crispy beans (NT$40, cooked seasonal vegetables (NT$30, salad at the end of October, and a small order of pot stickers (NT$35 for seven). What a filling dinner for under US$5! It felt luxurious. You need to get your own utensils and then drive your table, but hey, I'm all about cutting out the service fees. I'm definitely back for her pot sticker! Note: You will move over the road at the beginning of 2020. The last day they work on Limin Rd is the 31st December 2019."
