"Fancy sort of café opposite the park and beach. We had our first really good coffees of the trip and ordered cabinet food (2 slices of cheesecake and a tart) which was excellent, although pricey. Service was superb – fast and very friendly. They gave our young son some colouring to do while we sat outside and watched the world pass by. Somewhere I imagine I would spend a lot of time if I lived here!"

"Enjoyed a family get together & throughly happy with the atmosphere, meal, service and cost. This was our first visit on recommendation from a friend. "Wow what an experience. We had escargot and salmon trout terrine for entree. For mains we had Beef Roularde and Mignon Rossini. The pictures speak for themselves. Food was very well presented, very tasty and hot. Exceeded our expectations. Service was excellent."

"My partner and I had had lunch and we were looking for some ice cream as a treat. We went to this place as it was busy and thr ice cream looked great. We both got 2 scoops each my partner got Mango and something else. I got creme brulè and a coffee flavoured one. Well the mango tasted like it was only flavouring and was terrible. My creme brulè tasted like banana (not sure why that was) but they were both very disappointing. I do not like to give bad reviews and I generally like most ice cream, but in this case the ice cream was a little icy and the flavours were way off. On a super pleasent note, the staff were friendly, the serving was a good size, pricing was fine, store was clean and there is a huge range of flavours. I must say we didn't try any before we got them. That was a mistake. I will always try before I buy now. If I had tried, I would have walked out unfortunately as the flavours do taste fake."
