"My partner and I ate here after reading some good reviews. when we arrived, we didn't want to eat a big lunch, but our Italian is poor and the owner/cook came out and said we can a pasta dish either fish or. so we went with the fish that was snuking and snuggling (we think) in a beautiful garlic sauce. it was divine. even though we had planned on a light lunch, we went on to have sects of fried fish, and were also presented with fried vegetables (can kourgette,) on the house as a sample of Genoa food. we shared a small carafe white wine and also some water. we have been forced to stop before dessert because we were really full! the owner brought us again a rehearsal of the Genoa kitchen, this time a small glass of a difestif, possibly called amaro. overall we were received as soon as we went into, despite our poor Italians, and felt as if we had experienced a real Ligurian trattoria. the food was delicious and we wanted to have made dessert! would recommend to others to look for a similar experience."
