"I go here about once a month and am rarely disappointed. Unassuming from the outside, the food you get is very good. The fish is cooked to order and really delicious. The chips are normally really good too and the people that run it are friendly as well."

"Having long since become the local for fish and chips, I've been here dozens of times over the years. In all that time, the chips have never disappointed and are reasonably priced for the amount you get £1.90 for a large portion, which could do three people quite easily). It's nice to see that some places, especially in this day and age, have resisted the urge to rock up the prices. So as a local chippie, it's solid; certainly, it seems to be the only one in the area that gets any real business. The Chinese food on offer, however, is a bit harder to recommend. I had always seen the menu for it every time I'd been up there and so finally gave in to my curiosity one night and decided to try it. The roast pork curry was ok, but the sauce was a little stodgy and the chicken satays, despite tasting fine, were dry. The peanut sauce that came with them was also too watery in texture- think of an Asian broth with some peanuts tossed in. It wasn't awful, just a bit disappointing after the experiences we've had here in the past. So to recap: as a chippie, it certainly does its job well. I've used it for years and I don't see anything changing there. For Chinese takeaway, however, you'd probably be better off looking elsewhere."

"If you want over cooked chicken and tasteless burger than this is the place for you. customer service is ok in his place. Not sure how much they knew how to speak English. "Family owners fish and chip restaurant good food and excellent service to eat and take very fair price. won prize for best fishable in the south londons januar 2014 by the community administration has not yet been surpassed! the owners are always polite and will cook some fresh if not ready. eating is always fresh and the service for a restaurant of this type is no longer recommended for children, as well treated. the prices are more than reasonable and cheaper than some other places before location."
