"The six of us visited from California and ended up booking a last-minute weekend lunch at l'Argousier. We walked in the place with no idea of what was ahead of us. In hindsight, we were in for one the best dining experience we have had...during our stay in France. First of all, be warned: this restaurant does not try to impress with fancy dish descriptions or overused regional folklore. The place exudes an unpretentious and no-non-sense atmosphere, and in this carefully crafted air of simplicity a duck breast is just a duck breast. Yet it was clearly the most delicious duck breast I have had in my life. We all ordered prix-fixe menus (Decouverte and Gourmand, with different options for everyone). We all came to the same conclusion: every dish, and every minute detail about each dish, exceeded our expectations. We are talking metropolitan elegance, original and meticulously-crafted cuisine, and top-notch classy service (at a price that does not drain your wallet, kudos on that too). A few details, just to hit it home: we let the staff recommend wines for us (clearly, they know their pairings really well), we had two kids with us, and y.o., they enjoyed their meals just as much as we did, and we were surrounded by a diverse crowd of customers (biz lunch, families, tourists, couples). Also worth mentioning: they apparently change their menus seasonally, and although they do not use this as marketing gimmick, they use fresh, seasonal, local products. The place is clearly worth the detour. If you have never been to a top-notch French restaurant without the fluff, the intimidating atmosphere and the ticket, then you owe it to yourself to go out of your way to try this place."

"Good Restaurant with a high-quality cuisine. They offer a set menu with either or courses that changes every week. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'd give stars if the vegetarian version of the menu would show a bit more creativity."

"Good restaurant service fast, smiling, friendly, price in the standard (approx 8€ for pizza and approx.15€ for a dish), only flats just to specify it if we have allergies avoid the edge of fenetre because with the deco (which is very beautiful) we have a small smell of dust that gets out of it (the whole restaurant is clean just some piece of hard deco to clean smell the dust otherwise)"

"Si vous voulez 10 mg de décor d'assiettes haute-française de fantaisie, ils pourraient probablement vous accueillir, mais j'ai beaucoup mieux aimé plat du jour. Ils ont de vraies portion de plats délicieux, un service amical (même pour ceux d'entre nous avec un vocabulaire limité de français) et une belle salle à manger propre. La nourriture était authentique et copieuse, la bière froide, le café chaud ... tout ce que je pouvais espérer! (Avis d'origine) Wenn Sie 10 mg Phantasie-Französisch-Platten-Dekor wollen, könnten sie Sie wahrscheinlich aufnehmen, aber ich mochte das tägliche Special viel besser. Sie haben echte Portionen von leckeren Speisen, freundlichen Service (auch für diejenigen von uns mit einem begrenzten Vokabeln von Französisch) und einen schönen, sauberen Essbereich. Das Essen war authentisch und reichlich, das Bier kalt, der Kaffee heiß... alles was ich hoffen konnte!"
