"Not sure what happened, has been my go to for years. Our order today was absolutely brutal. Our one before was below par, I put it to just a busy bad day. But today's was garbage. Sorry Five Star, but Alex from 416 will no longer be ordering from you. Whole order smells like fish, lemon chicken even tastes like fish. Thai green curry was the worse ever. I'm done. Do not recommend"

"We visited this restaurant before the Donovan Woods show at the Capital Arts Theatre this past Sunday, Nov. 5th. It's located just off main street right across from the LCBO only a 5min walk to the theatre which is great. The second we walked in we were warmly greeted by staff and seated at one of the high tops by the window. The space is super cozy only 7 8 tables and seating at the bar and the vibe is awesome. The place quickly filled up and was buzzing! The food and service were excellent. I had the fried chicken sandwich and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich special and we were raving it about it until we go home later that night. We both agreed if we lived in Port Hope this would be our go to fav spot. The wine list features an excellent mix of local and international which I appreciated. I love their focus on local and sustainable menu items. We drive to TO often and are always looking for a place to eat to split up the drive home and this place will now be our go to stop. This place makes us want to visit Port Hope more and explore what else the town has to offer. Bravo Social team keep up the amazing work!"

"Everyone knows about the crappy McDonald 's in Ottawa, but try this place out for size. Constant talking about sexual subjects loudly while me and the family try to eat. Managers yelling at employees like lunatics, seriously, the one woman looked like a crack head as...it was, then she 's completely lobster faced screaming at a kid in the lobby that was apparently hers. Then she turns and starts screaming at the employees because she thought they were laughing at her when all they did was gasp at how loud she was. I seriously watched this individual, Sam on her nametag in case anyone wants to know when the show starts, she walks back by the drivethrough, pulls out what looks like a bag of straws and they all fall on the ground. Instead of being a normal human being and picking them up, she screams, who the f**k did this to the straws!! I 'm gonna punch you in the f**king throat when I find out! The workers scattered! I literally thought this was an act! I walked up and said excuse me and it 's like she knew what was coming. She said yeah hang on and just walked away. I waited 3 minutes and asked a kid if the manager planned on coming back, she said she doubted it because this happens every shift with her. Other than that, slow service. Expected with the frightened staff. Food was cold, probably sat there for a bit since the staff didn 't wanna go near the food spot after she dropped the straws by it and lost her mind again. Bathrooms, no toilet paper, really upset the wife. Bad smell of pot in the mens room. Asked for the owners information, the worker told me not to bother, they 've all been complaining for months. Like they gave up on anything actually being done about it but quitting. Wife had a picture of the disgusting state of the women 's room, but I can 't figure out how to upload. Might try again later."
