"Not my kind of place. Bar /tavern side had shrieking, raucous customers on a day when no one around. Really a tasting menu, teeny plates, teeny portions, poor value. Waitress told me that the green peppers in my mussel soup were mild- they were not and had to spit out with my mouth on fire. Truly embarassing when I was being treated. They did give me asparagus instead. Their only vegetable. They did not notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit on in the tavern/ bar area but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place if you eat high healthy protein and veggies like I do. I do not like to leave a restaurant feeling bloated with too much food but neither do I want to leave hungry. Their coffee was good after the meal."

"A beautiful hot and sunny day. A lovely ride on the chairlift up to the middle station on the mountain. Looking forward to drinks and a stunning view with lunch at this mountain restaurant. Oh dear, rather disappointed!We wanted a table on the patio and were happy to wait. The lady on the booking table explained that it was hot in the sun and for a table with an umbrella we would have to wait about 20 minutes. We said we were happy to do so. She suggested we could visit the information centre downstairs but we explained that we had already done so. I asked if we could look at the view on the patio while we waited and she looked a little displeased and said yes so long as we didn't get in the way of the serving staff! I didn't think this was a great way to treat paying customers but smiled and said that of course we would not! There was ample space on the patio for this not to be a problem.We did indeed get offered a table after about 20 minutes although when I heard our name called and approached a waitress to say we were ready, she said I would have to find the supervisor inside even though my husband was waiting on the patio where the supervisor knew we would be. I appreciate that this is world- famous Lake Louise but the whole place was a tad over pretentious for my liking.Another point I noted was that if perhaps the restaurant could invest in a few more sunshades for the tables, queues for the spaces would be reduced and it would be a win win all round.The waitress was friendly and prompt so my husband ordered a glass of white wine and since I was driving, I ordered a mocktail mojito which sounded lovely. I asked what was in this drink and the waitress explained that it was lime juice, mint and soda with ice. I asked if I could have extra mint as I loved it and she was enthusiastic in her response. When the drinks arrived I was really disappointed! There were 2 mint leaves on the edge of the glass and no mint inside the drink. I tasted it and basically it was like Sprite! I said that it wasn't quite what I expected and the waitress said 'that is how they are served in Canada'. I added that it wasn't really anything like a mojito and she said that the manager insisted they were made that way! Never mind what the customer wants I thought. I really was happy to pay more for the drink I really wanted but this didn't seem to be an option. The food was very tasty. I had the tomato and mozzarella salad and my husband had the strawberry and asparagus salad. We didn't feel valued as customers and although the chefs had done a great job with the food, we did not leave a tip."

"What a great experience. Spectacular views. Wonderful food. Great service from Michelle who was a delight and could not have done a better job. All at a great price!! We booked the Chairlift with lunch and got a food credit voucher. Don't miss the Cheese Fondue which is almost big enough for 4. The chairlift up and down was serene and the views while we enjoyed lunch from the balcony were amazing. Can't say enough about this place. 10 stars!!!"
