"My wife and myself have been looking forward to fish chips and donner meat chips all day. As the Big Fish was the nearest place to where we are staying we thought we'd give it a try. What a waste of time! Fish was really dry, no taste and the donner meat was cut too thick,very dry and had no taste. The chips were poor quality and tasteless as well. What a waste of £14.40 we managed to eat half of it and threw the rest of it in the bin. We're never going back there again and we don't recommend anybody else try it either. "Finally had enough today. Ordered two cod and chips, with two curry sauce but after walking home discovered no cod in the bag. A couple of weeks ago the curry sauce was missing and not the first time it's happened. I get it can be busy but you should still receive what you asked for. Because of covid you tend to order then stand back whilst you wait out of courtesy so you don't see what is being prepared, but I don't think I will go back again. Its worth the drive down to the town to a better one. Disappointing as I like to support local businesses."
