"Ich möchte keinen einzelnen Besuch werten. Wir sind 2 bis 3 mal pro Jahr im Externes. Obwohl wir schon einiges von der Speisekarte probiert haben, sind wir noch nie enttäuscht worden. Das Essen ist immer wieder ein Genuß. Die Fladen mit den unterschiedlichsten Belägen sind alle zu empfehlen. Ebenso die leckeren Aufläufe. Mir fällt die Auswahl immer wieder schwer.Man sollte aber auf die Bewertung der Schärfe in der Karte achten. Scharf bedeutet dann auch wirklich scharf. Das Bitburger Pils wird hier im Steinzeugkrug serviert und der Viez (für die zugereisten = Apfelwein) in der Porz (Keramikbecher). Das Lokal ist einfach und urig eingerichtet. Am Wochenende ist es sinnvoll zu reservieren, denn einfach mal vorbeischauen und einen Platz finden ist Glücksache.Im vergangenen Jahr waren wir mit sechs Freunden zur Weihnachtszeit im Externes. Alle kamen aus dem Großraum Hannover und waren begeistert über den schnellen,freundlichen Service und die ungewöhnlichen, schmackhaften Gerichte. Mir klingen noch die Worte unserer Freunde im Ohr: "Sowas müssten wir bei uns auch haben. Dann gingen wir jede Woche mal zum Essen hin""
