"We were among the many participants of the Medieval Studies Congress this weekend and found a menu on Saffron that was among the maps and other local promos in the registration building. We thought we would try what turned out to be a big decision. The place was very busy, but we sat within 5 minutes. Each of the hosts, waiters, servers and the owner himself was extremely polite and attentive. The food was incredibly delicious best Tandoori chicken ever! My friend had the shrimp vindaloo and we divided delicate, tasty basmati rice and garlic naan. They would probably pay much more, but our two dinners (before drinks) came to less than $30!!! Next time we're back!"

"Usually I would have no problem giving five stars for this location but this evening put a damper on that.. my boyfriend and I got bowls steak and chicken, our usual go to. Sadly this time all his steak was raw and mine was raw in some pieces and both unsure with the chicken.. both are sick to our stomachs after what would normally be a good dinner.. super disappointed this time around. Plus younger adults working seemed as if they didn?t want to be there. Will eventually try it out again but after tonight won?t be for awhile.."
