"I recommend this restaurant as the food is really excellent and the wine cave various. It’s a cocktail place to begin with, but we had an excellent méat eve though the carte is not large, the chefs really good for the food choice they propose!"

"Drive from Wyssachen towards Fritzenfluh, turn left at the Fritzenhus cheese dairy and follow the tarmac road (Vorder Hinterried) for about 6 km to the end (Gasthof Riedbad). There are parking spaces and beautiful hiking routes; it can be hiked onto the „Napf“ in about 2.5 hours. In order to survive as an inn in this remote location, the landlady of Riedbad made witches the subject and concept. The decoration outside and inside is impressive, imaginative and unique, like the landlady Elisabeth Widmer (Lise) herself. It is recommended to view the exhibition in the Burgerstube of Lise’s self-embroidered Anker-tapestry-pictures! For the evening program, the landlady acts as the sole entertainer and encourages the guests to sing along. The kitchen is authentic, correct and inexpensive. Be sure to try the delicious strawberry tarts! Thank you very much Lise, we will be back!"

"Fantastic location and after seeing the (high) prices out there, my expectations were very high. well, the decor of the restaurant is old and cuddly. eating is expensive, but only moderate: the ordered smoke sausage was in order, the potato salad was served too cold, cut too thick and the salats sauce was probably an industrial product (too acid). the chefin doesn't grieve your unknown customers, but it's well audible if a gasses somewhere where it doesn't fit her (terasses a wet place you should have to dry off) - an impossible person! no water was offered to my dog.Due to the friendly and some speditive operation and the magnificent location there are 3 stars in total."
