"The food was excellent and there was lots of it. It is rare these days when you walk away from a restaurant feeling fully satisfied. Service was generally courteous and efficient, although I did sit with an empty beer glass in front of me for twenty minutes - a cardinal sin!Both of us enjoyed all our three courses. Well cooked, true to description and well presented. Meat lovers paradise. Vegans need not bother. The wine list was limited, but obviously carefully and quite skillfully selected. You can't go past the Kozel dark beer, which is why I was so keen to get a second one. The initial wait time for entrees was a little too long, but once it was served, the rest of the meal was served in good order.We found the restaurant very noisy with the live band - we had to lean across the table to hear each other speak. However, when we raised the issue with Jerry, he cheerfully moved us to an outside table. The band themselves were very talented.The main disappointment from the evening was not from the restaurant or staff, but from the absolute bogans who disrespect a fine establishment by turning up in rubber thongs, vulgar board shorts and a dirty and torn flannel shirt. I saw at least three similarly dressed loud-mouthed ruffians during the evening. The place would benefit from at least a basic dress code. For that alone, I have deducted a point."

"Like an Italian home cooked food. hearty meals with love can taste them. it was our first station back in townsville after we were 22 years away, and eating is just as good as it was. do not expect silver service or pretentious entrees,...just honest hearty food on a teller. the steak dianne with spaghetti delightful and the pizza was great. great experience."

"My daughter brought us here fora freak shake and we were not disappointed. From the service when we first walked in to receiving my vanilla up cake shake I was impressed. My shake was absolutely delicious recommend to those that don't like that overly sweet taste but still want sweet. The service was second to none and the cleanliness of the restaurant extended into the toilets. So impressed I went back a few days later for breakfast.
